Building a Christ-Centered Home: Aquila and Priscilla

The quality of the homes we have will influence the kind of society we have. To have healthy homes, God-exalting churches and progressive communities we need husbands and wives that will through their own examples produce healthy marriages. We need couples that will make disciples for Christ through their homes. We need Aquilas and Priscillas.
Aquila and Priscilla, were tent-makers (Acts 18:3), they made their living together. They were not only mates and lovers; they must have been good friends and companions. Both Priscilla and Aquila were committed followers of Jesus Christ. They grew in the Word together, taught together and they served the Lord together. The played
A church regularly met in their house while in Ephesus (1 Cor. 16:19) and when they relocated to Rome (Rom. 16:3-5). The home of Aquila and Priscilla was always open to people who wanted to learn more about Christ, and for Christians who wanted to grow in the Word. They brought one young man under their spiritual care and pour into his life the things of Christ.
