The Children’s Ministry is a dedicated initiative designed to nurture the spiritual, physical, and moral growth of the young ones within the congregation. Its purpose is to provide teaching, counseling, and regular visitation to the children, while also periodically engaging with their parents to facilitate the comprehensive development of these precious children to the glory of God.

Objectives:

  1. To faithfully follow the Lord’s commandment, which instructs us to train children in the ways of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6, Matthew 18:14).
  2. To capture the hearts of our children for Christ at an early age, ensuring that as they grow, they will remain steadfast in their faith (Proverbs 29:17).
  3. To fulfill the Great Commission, recognizing that we are called to make disciples of all nations, including the children (Matthew 28:19).
  4. To pass down the legacy of Christian faith to the next generation, as described in Psalm 78:1-7.
  5. To enable our children to be vessels of God’s blessings, not only for themselves but also for their families, the church, society, and the nation at large.
  6. To disciple children, guiding them in their journey to become children of God.
  7. The Children’s Ministry plays a crucial role in bridging the potential generation gap that may arise in the future.
  8. To ensure the continuity and vibrant growth of our churches through the active involvement of the younger generation.
  9. To equip children to be sources of blessings to their families, the church, the wider society, and the nation as a whole.
  10. To help children recognize their need for forgiveness, encouraging them to view themselves as sinners in need of God’s grace and mercy (Matthew 18:14).

Through intentional efforts aligned with these objectives, the Children’s Ministry seeks to instill in our young ones a strong foundation in faith, ensuring that they grow up with a deep understanding of God’s love and forgiveness. By nurturing their spiritual growth, fostering a sense of belonging within the church community, and equipping them to navigate life’s challenges, we aim to raise a generation of children who are firmly rooted in Christ and actively involved in His Kingdom’s work.
