Missions and Evangelism Ministry
The reason for the existence of the church and the heartbeat of God is the salvation of lost souls. That is the essence of Missions and Evangelism. The New Covenant Baptist Church, Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, is a church that is sold out completely to Missions and Evangelism both in teaching and practice. She is conscientiously bringing up the rank and file of her membership to be fully committed to the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
The Church has been given a God-sized vision to plant one hundred and fifty (150) Churches and to send out three hundred (300) missionaries. This is the vision that the Missions and Evangelism Ministry is running with and so far about 24 churches have been planted both locally and internationally.
To this end a large percentage of her income annually goes into home and foreign missions. She has planted and mother about 18 Baptist Churches in and around the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria and has sent missionaries to some countries in the West African sub region. Currently she has adopted reaching the Unreached People Group (UPG) strategy of Missions. She has identified and plans are in advanced stages to enter into some UPG within the West African sub region.
For as long as the earth exists and Christ tarries, Missions and Evangelism takes the top most priority for us as a church. To this end we are on the lookout for persons and ministries or organizations that are passionate for the lost to partner with us because the work has grown so fast and beyond what our resources. So as you go through the partnership opportunities, prayerfully contact us on the areas where the Lord is asking you to be a fellow yoke bearer.
